The brands Bea’s selected this month are out of this world and we’d love it if you’d take our lead and give them a try too. Explore Bea’s favourite things in this month’s blog.

What’s an Epoxy River Table?

This term refers to two planks of wood, which are held together by transparent epoxy forming a naturally beautiful tabletop. These tables are made exclusively out of salvaged wood. The natural beauty of the wood is preserved and any defects are amplified. Therefore nodes or simple imperfections of the wood filled with transparent epoxy resin are very visible.

There are no limits to creativity when crafting these tables hence you can imagine my delight when Stefania from Protrade informed me that she placed an order for these beauties.

I am counting the days for the River Tables to arrive and I will look forward to including them when I am designing my next dining room or boardroom. These tables are versatile, and add charm to any room and design style.

Catch the stains before they set in. Wipe away any drink spills and food particles off the surface before they set in.

Would you like to change a room from lethargic to luxurious? You can do so with lavish fabrics in rich tones of plum, pomegranate and mulberry.

Taking inspiration from Pantone’s Colour of the Year Classic Blue, these warm berry shades work perfectly alongside cool blue hues to create a layered, tonal scheme. Maximalist living spaces are on trend for Spring/Summer 2020, with navy feature walls complementing fashionable deep purples, layered with accents of dusty pink.

You don’t have to paint a bold feature wall to introduce maximalism into your living space; incorporate large-scale floral designs, to inject bold pattern and colour.

Build on a neutral scheme with luxe velvet upholstery in on-trend dusky pink, glamourous satin cushions, paired with maximalist drapery.

If you aren’t comfortable using strong colours or bold patterns in a big way start small, with key accessories like textiles, pillows, throws and rugs that can be switched out as your mood changes.

Essential Oils by Doterra

Rest assured that you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy the wide array of benefits that essential oils offer. It is of utmost importance, though to learn how to use essential oils effectively, understanding safety precautions and application methods.

As you try different oils, you will learn which essential oils work best for you and your needs. It is very important that you use oils that are pure, potent and safe to gain the best possible oil experience.

Perhaps the easiest way to experience essential oils aromatically is by using an essential oil diffuser. There are several models of diffusers available and your choice in a diffuser will depend on your needs and preferences when it comes to using essential oils.
