Food storage containers are a necessary component of our kitchens, but the clutter they cause can be a nuisance. Without a proper storage plan, you can end up with missing lids and mismatched containers toppling from your cabinets.

If your container cupboard isn’t looking half empty most of the time, you definitely need to declutter it.
Go through your stash and do away with:
👉 odd bits and pieces without lids or missing parts
👉 broken or damaged containers
👉 the containers you hold on to ‘just in case’, yet never do
👉 the containers you’ve not used for years
Make a list of:
👉 the containers that you use just because there’s not a better alternative
👉 the containers you always seem to run out of
Work on replacing these slowly and donating your old ones.
