Hotel Inspired Bedroom

Residential Project by Bdesign

There are several different approaches in creating an ingenious space saving bedroom for a home of modest proportions. In this young woman’s bedroom, we have separated the sleeping area from the rest of the space by placing it on a platform.

The platform is covered in wood effect floor tiles, which creates distinction between the raised area and the remaining area.  The ceiling in the sleeping area is low and cannot afford a pendant lamp, therefore we have created a slim gypsum bulkhead above the headboard, which incorporates additional soft lighting.

The padded headboard goes all the way up to the ceiling and gives the area a luxurious look.
